AFC Offers Latest Bulk Bag Filling Station for Product Testing
Clifton, NJ: Process equipment manufacturer Automated Flexible Conveyor, Clifton, NJ, (afcspiralfeeder.com), has added its latest bulk bag filling station (BBF) to its test laboratory. Installed in its Clifton, New Jersey headquarters, the bulk bag filler is available for testing how quickly and easily the bag filling machine loads powders and other bulk materials into flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC), sacks, and other big bags. The compact AFC BBF sits at floor level for aerial video test documentation, safe, easy operator training, and quick adjustments to fit different bag styles and capacities.
Joining a lineup of companion powder process equipment in the test laboratory, the semi-automated bulk bag filler is installed with the company’s SPIRALFEEDER(TM) flexible screw conveyor to automatically transfer the sample material into the bulk bag filling station. An integrated weighing system, densifier, and other auxiliary equipment are offered to accurately simulate actual process conditions during testing.
