AFC bulk bag filling station
Introducing our latest solution for loading bulk materials into bags, sacks and fibc containers.
The AFC BBF offers a safe, easy way to fill bulk bags with powders, pellets, granules, and other bulk materials. It features a proprietary design that automatically creates a tight seal to fill bags while preventing dust from escaping into the workplace.
What is it
The AFC Bulk Bag Filler is a semi-automated bag filling station featuring a rugged, welded, steel support structure that safely handles fill weights up to two tons. The bag filling machine fits bag sizes ranging from 36-inch cubes to 48-inch cubes and can be adjusted quickly to fit changing bag heights, widths and capacities. Custom designs are also available.
How it works
The AFC Bulk Bag Filler enables one worker to automatically fill a flexible intermediate bulk container or other bag without coming into contact with the powder or other bulk material.
The empty bag is set on a pallet, the straps are placed over the arms, and the bag spout is placed around the discharge. At the press of the start button, the filling machine creates a tight seal between the fillspout and bag to mitigate dust exposure. Then the built-in prefill system automatically fills the bag with air to prevent any potential bag creasing and ensure plastic liners fully conform to the shape of the bulk bag.
Now it’s ready for filling from the companion AFC SPIRALFEEDER flexible screw conveyor or other bulk material transfer system. When filled, the flow of material to the discharge spout is stopped and the bag is easily removed from the spout and closed. The stable pallet load may be transferred by lift truck or pallet jack.

Semi-Automatic Operation
Just press a button to start loading powders and other materials using the AFC bag filling machine. It’s delivered pre-wired and tested and controls may be customized to integrate with existing systems and suit your exact process requirements.
Test Facility
The AFC Bulk Bag Filler may be tested in our fully-equipped Clifton, NJ test laboratory using your bags and materials to simulate the actual operating environment before purchasing. Customer participation is welcomed on-site or by livestream.
